Man can refuse God, but when he does, he is responsible for his own sin

It is evident that man is dependent upon God. Man did not create the world or the universe. God did. Man did not make himself. Neither did he give himself life. Man does not even provide the air which he breathes. Man is completely dependent on God and His creation. Absolutely everything a person has is lent to him by God. Man can lay claim to nothing. Man can refuse God, but when he does, he is responsible for his own sin. He has made his choice. This means eternal sepa¬ration from God.
Man’s desire to set up his own terms is a clear revela-tion that he does not want to submit himself to God. And this rebellion is sin.
